"Rolling for Carter" Bowling Night

1st Annual “Rolling for Carter” Bowling Night - Smashing Success!

The Christopher Carter Foundation's 1st Annual “Rolling for Carter” bowling night on Thursday, July 29th, 2010, at Lucky Strike in Washington D.C, was a huge success! We wish to extend a hearty "Thank You!" to everyone who showed up and contributed to the good cause and the fun times. With your help, we raised over $2,000 that will go directly to the Christopher Carter Memorial Fund administered by the Virginia Hospital Center Foundation.

Lucky Strike D.C. was an outstanding partner as well, and generously donated 20% of all money spent between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. on drinks, dinner and bowling for those who presented them with our flyer.
We look forward to seeing each of you again next year for the second edition of this fantastic event!
Below are some pictures from the night of celebration (and no, we had no idea before the event that Lucky Strike had the gigantic "Carter the Great" poster in their facility!).
The event got off to a great start....

...and the evening was capped off by a chance meeting with Quinton Aaron, star of Hollywood's blockbuster smash "The Blind Side" and gracious ad hoc supporter of our cause for the night!
